This competition is organized by Wimbledon Circle as a contribution to the life of the Province. The first competition was held in 1979 and it has been held annually ever since (except for 2003 when we preferred to celebrate our 1000th meeting and 2018 for our 100th birthday). ARRANGEMENTS for the evening in 2019
a) This event will be held on Thursday 31st October 2019 at the Sacred Heart Parish Halls, Edge Hill, Wimbledon, SW19 4LU.
b) Entrance will be via the Lower Hall door only. The meeting for Brothers will commence at 19:30 with registration open from 18:30 in the Lower Hall.
c) Digital entries cannot be submitted on the night; paper entries on the night can be submitted in the Upper Hall with discretionary acceptance until 18:45.
d) Before the meeting, drinks will be available for Brothers and Ladies in the Parish Lounge.
e) The ladies and guests will be able to view the photos from about 19:30.
f) All present will be encouraged to vote before 21:00 for their own favourite photo.
g) A three course meal (£30) will be available from 20.15 in the Upper Hall. To ensure that adequate catering arrangements are made, please could you advise our VP, Bill Sathanathan, by Saturday 21st October if you will be staying for dinner and the number of guests attending. h) A raffle will take place during the evening with proceeds going to the President's charity, Aid to the Church in Need
i) Results will be announced by 22:00
j) Dress for the meeting will be anything for Halloween or 'Smart Casual'
RULES for 2019
This year entries will again be accepted either electronically or as traditional paper prints. Electronic entries will be printed by Wimbledon Circle, on 'A5' size paper and will be hung alongside traditional prints. Please read the following rules carefully.
